Devonna is a licensed physiotherapist who brings a deeply thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care. She believes in the essential role of movement, education and empowerment within a biopsychosocial model to healthcare. She believes in the power of knowledge and in uniting all aspects of a person’s health - she is truly fulfilled by being able to help others in a meaningful way.

She has practiced in several different clinical settings and has established a strong vision and core fundamental principles that govern her practice. She is motivated to create a safe space that reflects her core values as a physiotherapist, in hopes of inspiring and guiding her patients to take control of their health.

She holds two degrees from McMaster University and has pursued extensive post-graduate training, including achieving her CAMPT-certification and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. Devonna is also a facilitator in the physiotherapy program at the University of Toronto and previously, McMaster University.

Beyond clinical practice, she is a passionate advocate for both the physiotherapy profession and women's health. She currently serves as Manager of Advocacy at the Canadian Phyisotherapy Association and previously held the role of Chair of the Women's Health Division, contributing to advancing pelvic health across Canada.

Physiotherapy aside,

Devonna loves:

Laughing with her friends and family, living an active lifestyle (preferably outdoors), cuddling & reading with her toddler, exploring the world through cooking, eating and craft beer & cheering loudly as a proud Toronto sports fan!

Fun Fact!

She was named after a Toronto Blue Jay (guess who?) + her mom's name (Donna)
