Michelle is a licensed physiotherapist who takes a collaborative, individualized approach to care. She works closely with each client to develop a treatment plan that reflects their unique goals, lifestyle, and needs—empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
Her approach is grounded in a biopsychosocial model, with a strong emphasis on movement and exercise as powerful tools for building a resilient, pain-free body. Michelle has extensive experience in private practice, supporting individuals of all ages in returning to the activities that matter most to them.
Michelle has advanced training in pelvic health physiotherapy and provides care for a wide range of concerns, including bladder and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy-related changes, labour and delivery preparation, pelvic pain, and postpartum recovery. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period with a holistic, full-body approach.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. She has also completed Level 2 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy program, further strengthening her skills in manual therapy and orthopaedic care.
Physiotherapy aside,
Michelle loves:
Everything bikes (and will happily talk your ears off about it), to ride around the city to explore new areas and find the best pastries and cafes, spending time outdoors camping or at the cottage, lifting weights and practicing her own movements.
Fun Fact!
Michelle started bike racing in her first-year cycling!
